Here at Paint Valley Stables we administer oxygen with a mask , or blend oxygen and air without the mask. We have found it very beneficial to put 10 inches of water in the chamber after the horse is brought in and then proceed with the treatment.Not only for a safety factor but to relieve hot,tired,and sore hooves and tendons.
And yes we have treated more then horses.To name a few cattle,dogs,cats,and whatever arrives for hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
